A snowshoe race (walk or run) from Kick and Push Brewery to Sharbot Lake and back.  Over 80% of the race will be on groomed flat trails (K&P).  This will be a fast race for experienced participants and great introduction for newcomers to the sport.  Total distance is 7.5 to 8.0 km.

Snowshoes will be available for rent on race day at $10.00 each.

The race starts and ends at Kick and Push Brewing Co.  To keep registration costs to a minimum, there will be no race specific swag provided.  Registration includes a draft beer, chili and a bun upon completion.  The race will be timed and there will be some prizes offered.  Participants are eligible for  15% off any in stock merchandise on race day.

As an added twist, we will have a beer station at the half way (turnaround) point.  Participants of legal drinking age have the choice to consume a 355 mL Kick and Push beer before finishing the second half of the race.  Participants that do embrace this opportunity will have 1 minute deducted from their total course time.
